Crankshaft Stroker Mods

Crankshaft stroke changes can be done as long as your engine cases and the lower rod thickness around the bearing have enough material to allow the change. Machine work may be needed if you are changing the stroke more than 2mm. What ever you need for crankshaft alterations, we can take care of it. All prices listed below are per cylinder.

Cylinder Boring, Sleeving or Nikasil coating

Cylinder Bore to piston clearances are set to the recomended factory or piston manufacturer. Aftermarket pistons can be supplied by us if available. send a copy of the paid parts and labor receipt or send full payment along with your cylinder to us. Make sure the power valves, covers and gaskets are removed or there will be extra charges added.  See the Sleeves and Big Bore page for more details

Head & Compression Mods

We machined cylinder Heads for Big Bore kits, and to increase or decrease compression ratio, depending on the application. All of our head mods get a light skim cut to the gasket surface and double angle squish band with a proper piston to head squish depth. We also do flat top piston conversion and custom head work per request.

Prices    (2-Stroke only)

Increase or decrease compression ratio $60.00
(exhaust port timing, head gasket thickness and a piston may be required)

Machine Head for Flat top piston conversion $120.00
Includes Welding to head before machining
(exhaust port timing, head gasket thickness and a piston may be required)

Machine Torodial combustion shape (requires welding) $200.00

Increase bore size and re-set compression ratio for Big Bore kit $50.00
(This service is included if we install the Big Bore kit to your top end)

Porting, Stage I & II                RPM Signiture Head mod

We offer two stages of porting                   Included with Stage II

Stage I
Which is basicly matching gasket to cylinder mis-matches, removing or blending casting flaws and rolling the edges of the fuel entree area of the transfers (no port timing changes).

Stage II
Which is all of stage I in greater detail plus port timing changes, port surfaces and shapes that we found to work well with todays race engine technology. One example is "port polishing" this is an old school method that dosen't make more power, that's why all your performance engines of today have rough casted surfaces. It's all to do with atomizing fuel and air. The goal is to keep the fuel and air well atomized all the way until the spark plug fires, that is why we don't polish ports and in some cases we will rough up the surfaces by grit bead blasting. The cylinder, piston & head is required for stage II porting.

Cylinder Porting Prices

Stage I Porting  $60.00 per cylinder
Involves clean-up & blending of the transfer & intake port inlet areas for better engine breathing, no port timing changes. Stage I porting is recomended for all small engines up to 125cc, but will help larger engines as well.

Stage II Porting  $250.00 per cylinder
Involves clean-up & blending of the exhaust, transfer & intake port areas for better engine breathing, and port timing changes to your type of riding/racing. Stage II porting is recomended for all engines 125cc & larger, and Includes Head modifications.

Add $50.00 for power valve R&R
